Northside people...who's still alive and kickin?

Hello people...

I've been gone a dozen years now, so I'm probably more forgotten than remembered but just looking to see what's cookin' at the old stompin' grounds. Who's alive, who's married, who's a parent, who's out of jail, who's still livin' on the island and so on. Any MHS class of '94 people, or in my case '94,'95, & '96. I'm here remembering hangin in Sydney Mines, North Sydney, Dave's Store, PC dances....all of it.
I'm living in Northern B.C. and I've been happily married for almost 4 years now and we have 1 child (son) so far. Life is good here for me, and I'm hoping all is well for the old crew.

Hopin' for some responses!

A fellow Tidney Miner here, the outskirts of the Jungle to be exact. I remember you even though you're a bit younger than I am.

Welcome to the board and thanks for joining.

You've been busy over the last 10 years with getting married and havin' kids and all. Glad to hear things are going well for you.

My name is Jason Young and I am still in Cape Breton but living in Sydney. I too am married, 5 years and counting, and have a daughter.

I know there are a few Capers here who still live on the island and there are others from all over Canada.

How are your brothers Chris and Tony doing?

Hey Jason,

My brothers are doing well. Chris lives in Innisfale, Alberta, married with 3 kids while Tony's living in the Queen Charlote Islands, B.C., single and loving it. I can remember you for sure, I think you were 2 or 3 years older. I know you used to bowl (correct me if I'm wrong). Congrats on marriage and fatherhood. Good job on the site too, it's really cool to be able to connect back to the island!!.

Well I got y'all. Class of 86 (even though I don't like to admit it somedays). Is there any info out there with regards to a MHS reunion? If ye have heard anything plse send it my way. 2006 is my 20 year and since I am not aboard one of Canada's finest HMCS's or frying my @ss in a desert somewhere, I would be interested in returning for any and all celebrations. Thanks.
