Canadian Government: Past and Renewed Animosities Against the Ofume family In the West Africa sub-region, Dr. Phillip Ofume led several Human Rights NGOs to demand for the interrogation of the Canadian government officials who invited the wife (Alhaja Kudirat Abiola) of the winner of the annulled June 12, 1993 Presidential Elections (Chief MKO Abiola) the day she was cold bloodedly murdered in June 1996. This demand infuriated the Canadian government and it held the animosity against Dr. Ofume and his family and NGOs. To mend this past broken fence, after the forcible resettlement of Dr. Ofume and his family in Canada, Dr. Ofume led some of the best social and economic policy researchers and investigators to review 400 years bad policies and practices across Canada. This professional and expert assistance offered gratis to the Canadian government and its agencies and Canadians offended the Canadian government and its agencies and a massive reprisal was unleashed against Dr. Ofume and his family and NGOs. The findings of the researchers/investigators are part of the information located at: www.nipad.org.za. In addition to the normalization of the political situation in Nigeria, which has triggered the Application for Voluntary Repatriation to Country of Origin, Dr. Ofume desires to contest for the federal elections 2007 (or thereafter) for the President of Nigeria.
